Nitin Patel, MD, FACC
Clinical Cardiologist
Dr. Nitin Patel moved to the Verde Valley in 1996 and founded Cardiac Care with the mission and commitment to bring his patients the latest, state-of-the-art technologies to treat cardiovascular disease. He chose the medical profession to make a difference in the world – helping people one-by-one.
Dr. Patel is a clinical cardiologist and is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the American Medical Association, and has more than 20 years experience treating patients from all over the world. He is on staff at the world-renown Arizona Heart Hospital.
He received his bachelor’s and medical degrees from the University of Zambia, Africa then moved to the United States. Patel earned a master’s degree in biomedical engineering from the Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Michigan State University and his fellowship in cardiology at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Dr. Patel has researched and developed a computerized information management system for fully documenting Advanced Cardiac Life Support delivery to patients. He has also worked on multimedia computerized ACLS delivery systems.
In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and children and the family dog, Misty. His hobby is astronomy.
